Mr Ricketts is extremely informative factual and very kind. He has a superb manner and made me feel comfortable and at ease. My surgery, carpol tunnel on both hands but one at a time was successful and has been explained throughout the whole process. I have been in contact with his secretary on a few occasions and she is also really lovely, helpful and funny. 10/10!!

What a great experience. At my fist meeting we talked about my elbow injury but also health. I was inspired by Dr Rickett’s words and went into lose three stone in just over two months with regular exercise and balanced diet. The operation went well and was as described. I can hand on heart say that whilst the operation was small, my experience was live saving or at least life lengthening. That first consultation has very much changed my life. Thank you!

Very engaging ... yet efficient

An avid squash player who spent a number of years under Mr Ricketts care before undertaking the inevitable full shoulder replacement. I can't fault him for his passion, caring and thoughtfulness. He guided me though the options many times with great patience before we came to the final decision. He fully understood my desire to continue to be active and we worked around that until the final decision. He has great empathy and made me feel completely at ease. The operation went well and recovery also progressing really well. I would recommend Mr Ricketts at the drop of a hat! Thanks.

Mr Ricketts is most approachable, professional, charming and a very caring and personable Gentleman. He makes one feel very at ease and is always willing to listen and answer any questions, he has been most reassuring in my recent care. He also has a great sense of humour which is a real bonus. Thank you. His receptionist Karen Bloomer is also a lovely lady and always has a cheery smile. As always the care received at the Princess Royal has been second to none. Well done the NHS.
